Abstract: 

Objective: The objective of this study was to analyze the lifestyle and its relationship with demographic characteristics, risk behaviors and health conditions in university students of the Physical Education course of the Faculty of Technology and Sciences of Vitória da Conquista - BA. Methods: Epidemiological, transversal and observational study, with field research procedure. The data were collected by means of a questionnaire and soon afterwards an anthropometric evaluation was carried out, with the aid of a stadiometer, an anthropometric test and a balance. The entire procedure was carried out in the Faculty of Technology and Sciences, with the students of the Physical Education course in October 2016, with the participation of 100 people / students of the institution who were properly enrolled. Results: The results showed that the students have an active lifestyle, do not have a habit of smoking, moderate consumption of alcohol and show good standard of food, but with some caveats. Conclusions: Related to the main risk identification markers, show that the majority of the students of the institution that has been investigated are out of danger with regard to cardiovascular diseases.
